Greek salad consist of chopped tomato, cucumber, onion, feta cheese, green pepper, and olives seasoned with oregano, salt and pepper, topped with olive oil and white wine vinegar.
2 Tomatoes cut into small cubes
1 Onion, thinly sliced
½ Cucumber, cut into small pieces
1 green pepper (capsicum), cut into small pieces
120g Feta cheese (Sheep Cheese), cut into small cubes
For the Dressing:
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
1 tsp Lemon Juice
4 tsp white Wine Vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Add chopped cucumber, chopped tomato, olives, feta cheese, sliced onion, and capsicum to the large bowl.
2. In a small bowl, whisk olive oil, dried oregano, lemon juice, salt and wine vinegar.
3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine just before the serving.
4. Garnish the Greek salad with freshly ground pepper.
