Peach Cake

Peach cake is made using fresh or frozen peaches. This cake is popular and tastes delicious.....

250g All Purpose Flour (Maida)
250g Butter
200 Sugar
2 cup fresh or frozen peaches, sliced
100g Almonds, grounded/ grated
1 tsp Baking Powder
4 Eggs
Juice from 1 lemon
2 tsp Rum

1. Mix flour, baking powder together and sieve it to get mixed evenly.
2. Beat butter and sugar till it becomes creamy.

3. Add egg one by one to the butter sugar mixture and beat for 30 seconds.

4. Add lemon juice and rum and beat for few seconds.

5. Add grounded almonds to above mixture and fold gently using the spatula.

6. Add flour baking powder mixture to egg sugar mixture and mix gently with spatula.

7. Grease baking pan with butter and sprinkle flour over it.

8. Fill the baking pan with the batter and spread it using a spatula.

9. Arrange the sliced peaches over the batter.

10. Bake at 180 degree C for 45 to 50 minutes.

1. Butter and egg should be kept at our room temperature.
2. Preheat the oven before you bake.
