Cabbage Peas Poriyal

250g Cabbage, shredded
75g Peas, cooked
1 tsp Oil
1/2 tsp Cumin seed
2 Green chilly, slit
A pinch of Asafoetida
1/4 tsp Turmeric
Few Curry leaves

1. Heat oil in a kadai, add cumin seed, green chilly, curry leaves, Asafoetida and turmeric powder.
2. Add cabbage and saute for a minute.
3. Add salt and sprinkle little water to the cabbage.
4. Cover and cook till it becomes soft.
5. Finally add cooked peas and mix well.
6. Serve hot.
