Mochai kootu (Broken Beans Curry)

Ingredients:
250g Mochai (field beans)
1 Onion, finely chopped
2 Tomato, finely chopped
1 tsp sambar powder
2 tsp chilly powder
1/4 cup grated coconut
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp urud dal
1/2 tsp Fenugreek seed (perunjeeragam)
Few curry leaves
2 tsp oil
Salt

Preparation:
1. Pressure cook mochai separately and keep it aside.
2. Grind coconut along with sambar powder to fine paste and keep it aside.
2. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard, urud dal, fenugreek seed.
3. Once the mustard starts to splutter add curry leaves, onion and saute till the onion becomes golden brown.
4. Add tomato, chilly powder and saute for a minute.
5. Add mochai, little water, salt and cook it on low flame for 5-7 minutes.
6. Serve as a side dish for rice.
