Idiyappam

Ingredients:
2 cups Raw Rice(Pachaarusi)
salt
water

Prepration:
1.Wash the rice and soak it for 2-3hrs.
2.Drain the water and allow it to dry completely.
3.Grind it to a fine powder and dry roast it(roast it without oil).
4.Boil water in a pan.
5.Add the boiled water little by little to the rice flour along with salt,stir in between to make into a smooth dough.
6.Take a small quantity of the dough and put into the Idiappam maker and press the dough onto the idli plates in a circular motion.
7.Keep the plate in idly cooker and steam it for 5 mins.
8.Serve hot with sugar and grated coconut/kuruma.
