Kala Kala Karam ( Spicy Diamond)

1 cups Maida
2 tsp butter
2 tsp chilly powder
1 tsp cumin seed
A pinch of Asafoetida
Oil for frying
Water (to prepare dough)

1. Mix maida, salt, chilly powder, cumin seed, asafoetida and butter together.
2. Add water to make dough.
2. Make a lemon sized ball from the dough and roll them like chapati.
3. Cut them into small diamond shapes.
4. Heat oil in a kadai, add the diamonds and fry till it becomes light golden colour.
