Crab Curry

5 Medium Size Crab
1 Onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp Cumin seed (Jeera)
4 red chilly
2 green chilly
1 tsp grated coconut
5 Garlic cloves
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
A small piece of ginger
2 tsp Coriander leaves
1 cup Water
2 tsp oil
Few Curry leaves

1. Clean the crab and cut it into half.
2. Grind pepper, jeera, ginger, garlic, green chilly, red chilly, coriander leaves, grated coconut together to a paste.
3. Heat oil in a kadai,add onion ,curry leaves and saute till the onion becomes golden brown.
4. Add crab, ground paste, turmeric powder, salt and mix well. Saute them for 5 minutes.
5. Add water to the crab, cover and cook on low flame till it is done.
6. Serve hot.
