Ingredients:
1 cup Dried Peas (pattani)
1 tsp Chilly Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Mustard
1/2 tsp Urad Dal
2 tsp Oil
2 tsp Grated coconut
Few Curry leaves
Salt
Preparation:
1. Soak Pattani (dried Peas) for 7-8 hours.
2. Pressure cook pattani, drain the water and keep it aside.
3. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard and urad dal.
4. Once the mustard starts to splutter add curry leaves, cooked pattani, salt, chilly powder, garam masala and mix well.
5. Keep it in simmer 5 minutes.
6. Finally add grated coconut and mix well.
