    I do not know the exact name for buckwheat in Tamil. Your blog says the following:
    English: Buckwheat
    Tamil: Kotu
    Telugu:
    Hindi: Kootu
    Kannada:
    Malayalam

    I have not heard of Kotu. I am sure it is not Kondaikadalai. Buckwheat is good for blood pressure. I need to buy this. Let me know.

    Dampudu biyyam means Brown rice.

    Uppudu biyyam means parboiled rice which is used as idli ravva.

    Both were not same

    No shop keeper was able to decipher the word Kuttu in Telugu. I think, this word needs correction, probably
